Was this rude? Or am I just overreacting?

Whenever I send my babys father a pic of our daughter, he never replies back with a comment about it. We're also not together, he has another girlfriend, but that's besides the point. So I usually tex him hours later asking if he got the pic, and he always replies yes. But isn't it a little rude of him to not say anything when I send him a pic of her? He has other kids besides our daughter by other women including the girl he's with (our daughter is the youngest out of all his kids that's why I feel like sometimes he doesn't care as much about our daughter). What do you guys think?
