Break-up with Kids involved.?

I understand what you are saying. I do believe in waiting for a new boy or girlfriend to show affection for at least 3 months or so. Which would include no sleep overs before that either. Thats too much for a child. It is so hard when kids are involved, its good that you are considering the effects to your son. You dont say how old your child is, so I am not sure how much your child would really understand? I dont see a problem with a hug good bye or hello but that would be it. I suggest that you try to 'ask' him not to do certain things and give the reason to the ex boyfriend. If you Tell him, he may not respect that and do what he wants. If he understands if for the welfare of the child, he may give it some thought and respect what you request.
