Can muslims eat deer meat?

Hi. I am having my fiance's family to my place for Christmas dinner, and his grandmother's best friend/companion, who is Muslim, will join us. It is our custom to make some sort of game for Christmas dinner and I thought of making rehragout (a sort of braised venison/dear meat) stew, but I don't want to serve anything that our Muslim guest will not be able to eat. Can Muslim's eat deer? If not, please feel free to give me other suggestions! Thanks for your help in advance!
