Recent earthquakes....a precursor to the "big one"?

I live in San Diego and on Easter we felt Baja California's 7.2 earthquake very strong. Since then there has been several aftershocks. the last couple days they have been fairly sizeable lasting up to 20 seconds. Southern California is going to get the "big one" sometime in the near future. Do you think these quakes will set off the same fault as the 7.2 quake and we get another large quake or do you think it will set off the faults lkike San Andreas?
