Are boys naturally closer to their moms and vice versa?

Hmmmm your theory unfortunately has many holes in it....... one hole so to mention would be the fact that i am a single father raising 2 young boys 9yo and 5 yo by myself.... they have no mum and as such are daddies boys, also before she left there lives the kids were still daddies boys....... The theory is "BUSTED".....
