Can I read SDHC card directly from desktop computer?

My new Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS5 camera can read the SD HC memory card using a furnished USB cable while the SD HC card is in the camera, but the card reader on-board my desktop PC can't read it when I insert it directly. I already tried to re-format it into FAT-32, but the computer will not show the proper card slot name on my screen. Am I stock with always using the USB cable and camera? Now i have the time I just multiplied this by 9.81m/s2 and get the answer 44.24m/s. Is this right? it sounds about right but I have no way of checking. any help or pointers would be much appreciated.

I thought that getting your membranes stripped was getting your waters broken, which is a common way to "induce" labor. My clmate playfully bit my arm, is he flirting for real, or is it for his gain?

Okay, I'm gonna break down the entire thing. My friend/clmate sits next to me in history cl and we usually talk to each other when cl is boring or just cause we don't wanna pay attention. Sometimes it's pretty smooth and he makes me laugh and smile pretty easy, to the point were my cheeks hurt like hell, though keep in mind, P.E. practically makes me high enough to laugh at clouds, plus my own jokes usually crack me up, only its slightly different when he makes me laugh. He only really talks to me in history cl, sometimes in science, and if sometimes he comes over to talk with my friend Amari with his two other hot-and-skinny, short guy friends. He's friends with ALL the guys I think are hot, but he has a girlfriend, well I think so anyway...He hangs out with this group of "ding-dong-dang! their stupid blondes!" and he holds hands with and hugs them a lot, one a lot more than the others. Keep in mind I'm like five sizes bigger than them in three ways, only one being good. Though they are really REALLY short and skinny, but they're exactly the same height and waist size as him, so I'm not that bad off because I'm one of the tallest girls of my age so people often mistake me for four years older than I am. I have really bad acne and my legs and *** are probably the worst part of me, my waist, my eyes, and overall face look are the good, so I don't feel self-confident very much, and I only act myself around my closest friends and if they strongly disagree with something I say as if it's completely wrong even if it's an oppinion, I often feel hurt and recoil quickly, keeping my mouth shut. When we're not actually talking though I am extremely cut-loose crazy fun when we are talking about normal things like games, clwork, and hobbies, and we often 'modify' the games we're supposed to play in P.E. and-I'm getting off topic. Anyways, we were in history class taking notes and finding information on an informational read-out sheet and I commented to him that in kind of looked like a Chili's Mexican Menu and he agreed. He started going on about chimichangas, burritos, and tamales, so I just continued my work. After about 3 minutes, he scooted his desk hecka close to mine and leaned in towards me. I kinda threw him a "Uhm, okaaay" look and tried to write more, with the added difficulty of his face being close to mine. All the sudden he says "Psst. Hey, what'd you get for number three?" I reminded him that it was a note-taking sheet and it wasn't numbered. He said oh yeah and studied my paper so I just figured he wanted to cheat and let it slide, only he wasn't copying my work and we weren't actually working together as partner, just to clear up why my teacher didn't smack him with a ruler for doing that, but no one else move their desk close to their partner. I continued working and all the sudden my leg hurts and I go, "Ow, something just bit me!" cause a bug actually bit me. Then he goes, "It wasn't me I sware!" I look at him weird and he just smirks. Then his friend Eddy (who sits on my other side) starts harassing him. "Suuurrrre we totally believe you. But why are you getting so close to her, huh dude?" Okay because I don't wanna use his given name, I'm using the name Genie as his alias because that's actually my nickname for him, that way you don't get confuse him with Eddy. 'Genie' got up to walk around to Eddy and I returned working by myself, much easier without my face turning red. After he talked to Eddy for a while I felt a slight but not uncomfortable pain in my arm. I turned and saw 'Genie's' face right next to my arm and he smiled cheekily. "It wasn't me I sware." I thought he pinched me but his face's position, the slight teeth marks, and wetness on my shirt's arm would prove otherwise. Is he flirting? Is he just acting like that because I'm the only girl who sits near him? Does he actually like me? Or is it just his way of insuring I let him cheat off me later? Please help! We live in Tennessee and we have a lot of (yellow) ercup flowers that grow wild on our property. When is the right time of the year to dig them up and replant?? While their blooming? I live in San Diego and on Easter we felt Baja California's 7.2 earthquake very strong. Water replacement, tap water and Aquasafe question?

Specifically Yes, I have used Tetra Aquasafe before with tap water treated with Chloramine and it works perfectly fine. You would treat the tap water prior to putting it into the tank. I treat the water then let it sit for a few hours to adjust to room temp and completely work out all the harmful metals and chemicals before adding it to the display tank. As far as how much aquasafe just follow the specific directions on the bottle. I used it previously for a number of years and never once had any issues. Most of tetras products are trash, however as far as the aquasafe is concerned I would recommend it as it does exactly what it states. Hope I helped a little, and truly of best of luck with your fish.

What we have here is failure to communicate... Actually this indicates a breakdown between the continuity supervisor, the director and editor. Mainly the continuity supervisor. It is HIS job to see things like you list do NOT happen and obviously, the continuity supervisor dropped the ball, several times... This is a major problem in movies with a high percentage of special effects. The continuity supervisor jas nothing to actually SEE in the frame which he is supposed to be tracking. This becomes even more difficult when the continuity has to span more than one movie.

My Family! And How It Got This Way!!?

Hello my name is Aaron Fischer and im 16. I know its young to be asking for family support but in time of need it is necisary. When i was younger my mother and father had 4 kids me being the oldest of a brother(a yr. younger then I) and two younger sisters. My father had did drugs and got drunk all the time. We used to live in a trailer park. We were a family that was less fortunate but i know there are families even less fortunate then i was and ever will be and i am sorry for that and wish i could help in many ways but dont know how. My parents got divorced when i was young and i have not seen my father in awhile. The only reason my parents got divorced is because he stole the money my mom made to support our family to buy drugs and alcohol so then that put us in a dump. So when my mom found out that put fights adding up to more fights that already existed in our house all the time between my parents and siblings. Then having a supportive grandma and grandpa we lived with them for a while and on top of that my mom had thyroid cancer and when she had surgery they took it out just to find another one behnd it. My grandparents took care of us for a couple of years then my mom had already had a job at swift which is a trucking company. She had met this guy name Ed which drove Semi trucks. They had talked and got to know eacother very well and eventually we had moved to New York from Pheonix Arizona. They got married and have been married for 5 to 6 years now. In New York here with a supporting role model as an acting father in ur lives he had also had a divorce with his ex wife and they had three children two boys and a daughter wich were also younger then I so I am now the oldest of 7 children. Ed was in the military ( NAVY ) and had been deployed to kuwait while in kuwait we fixed up the home we had moved in to. We had changed to look like a descent looking home before he had got back after 8 monts which during those 8 months i was the oldst man in the house and had to take some action in supporting my family but being a brother to 7 no one would listen to me so it was a riot whle he was gone. My mom is the kind of mother who thinks of us before she thinks of herself and i have always wanted to give her something she could always remember but havnt had time or touht on what to do seeing as i have no job yet or any way helping her out but by cleaning and watching the kids. Now that my step grandfather had ped a way which i do truely miss we had bought a new house which is in repair as we speak. My step father Ed might be deployed to Afganistan which would be a living hell seeing how afgan is the most dangerous place ovrseas right now. It would suck to lose another father in my life and on top of that the house that is in repair is not working out so good seeing how we have strapped money budgets and many things to worry and think about we have not got much done. Sepsis/Mechanical Ventilation-Recovery Possible?

My gma ( 68 yo) was admitted to hospital Sunday after noon, dx: bilateral pneumonia. Sunday evening she was taken to CCU and put in isolative care because her lab showed her white blood count to be .6. (not a typo-- her wbc was POINT 6.) Monday evening had to be intubated and put on a respirator because she was not breathing well enough on her own. Later that evening had to have a central line inserted in her neck because her blood pressure was erratic and needed immediate medication. Tuesday, found out she had Strep B, and Wednesday, found out she had become septic. She is being seen by a CCU specialist who can't seem to find the time to return phone calls or visit with her family and my question is... what is the chance of survival and normal recovery and if a recovery is possible, how long should it take for her to show a least a small sign of improving? She has always said that she didn't want the "life sustaining" measures unless there was no doubt that she would fully recover, and the doctors simply say "it could go either way"?

As a guy I have to say that this whole situation is frustrating. Some girls expect a guy to grab the door and do "traditional guy stuff" and some girls are polar opposites. I'd say you're a polar opposite. It can be frustrating for a guy because ultimately they're just trying to show respect. But in this day and age, that could mean anything. It's confusing. A lot of girls still appreciate chivalry and if a guy gets a door, it's just a way of being nice. There are other ways that men can treat women as equals and vice versa. In your case, it will be important to very nicely make it clear to a guy that you don't expect him to get the door, pay the bill, etc that you are capable of doing that sort of thing and prefer to do things equally. Getting upset after the fact or getting upset because a guy umed he would be paying the check doesn't make much sense. Your frustration and anger is causing the guy to get frustrated and angry, not because he thinks you're incapable, but because he's just trying to be a gentlemen and do the right thing (which like I said, is confusing and means many different things to many different people).
