Why is diversity for the sheer sake of diversity considered so all-important by so many people & institutions?

"Diversity" is just oppression. Wake up. When the best and brightest are not permitted to prosper or are held down to the levels of others in the name of "multiculturalism" you are not getting an education, you are getting an indoctrination. Oh btw: DON'T justify yourself, it's weak and counter productive. Just ask the damn question and skip the preamble.
