So my wife made me watch Idol last night and see "ADAM", because he sang a U2 song, and I wnated to vomit. WHY?

I almost threw up my count chocula when I heard that ..ummmm guy.... ummm sing???? Is that singing. I listened to some of his past ummmm performances and all i heard was high pitched whining that made Axl Rose sound like pavarotti. Why is America in love with the guy who sounds like tortured cats? I am so out of it. I guess I should be like the rest of America...eating non stop, racist and lazy.
