Do you think its wrong that as kids were not taught the true histories of events like hiroshima?

Well when i found out columbus contributed to the murder of all those indians i didnt feel like my innocence had fallen apart. Bsides kids may not be able to fully understand that kind of stuff and they could make offending jokes about it, or get really scared and paranoid, or decide they like the attention that the people who did such bad things got and do bad things for attention too. Its better if they teach them the basics and leave the rest to the parents at such a young age.
