Do teenagers care about anything these days?

I notice that in my school, most people only care about music and . When I tried to talked to my friends and other people about stuff like (human trafficking, s commited by Serbian during the Bosnian War, how Czech militants hold 300 children as hostage but later killed as human shield, etc.) they all think im a psycho and i will be a virgin forever, which I found to be quite silly....
